Last year, the Chapter won the 2nd place in the IEEE PES chapters web site contest.
Calling for GOLD!
GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade) is a new initiative from IEEE to reach out to young engineers who have just entered the workplace. IEEE members who obtained their first professional degree within the last decade are automatically GOLD members. The aim of GOLD is to assist young members in their transition between their academic and professional lives. We are planning some activities for GOLD members (tentatively in May/June) and would like to urge all young members to send contact particulars to our GOLD coordinator, Ms Quek Swee Xian (sweexian@singaporepower.com.sg) for future correspondences.
