Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Why are some downloadable files in .doc format and others in .pdf format?

A: MS Word (.doc) format allows users to download the documents and modify them without limitations. The Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format is read-only so the document cannot be modified by the users. This makes the pdf documents immune from undesirable or unauthorized changes and modifications. Adobe Acrobat reader software can be downloaded free of charge from the Adobe Web page. The preferred format is pdf.

A: Go back to the "PES Switchgear Committee Home Page". Click on: "Minutes of the Meetings (Archives)". Click on any of the dates of the previous meetings.

Q: What should I do when my e-mail address changes?
