Our next meeting is
upon us and it will be a great one!
Once again, we have the honor of co-hosting (with Xcel Energy) the
annual U of MN Center for Electrical Energy (UMCEE) Summer Lecture
Series. Last year we had a great
turn out and great talk from Paul Imbertson on Electrical Energy Storage. This year should prove to be even better! Sara Mullen, from the University of MN
Electic and Computer Engineering Dept will
educate and enlighten us on SMART GRID.
She will cover such questions as: "What is Smart Grid
anyway?" and "What are the economic Benefits?" The attached pdf has more information
on this exciting topic, as well as background on Sara Mullen.
