ARSO2013

The 2013 IEEE Workshop on Advanced Robotics and its Social Impacts (ARSO) aims at discussing advanced robotics R&D and its implications to economic and social systems. Participants of ARSO will be world class robotic researchers, investors, economists, and representatives of industry and government. The workshop is single track with discussions on cutting edge science and technologies, business opportunities and the social impact on societies. The workshop will be held in conjunction with IROS2013 and iREX 2013 (the International Robot Exhibition 2013) at Tokyo International Exhibition Center (aka "Tokyo Big Sight").

Scope

Following topics are welcome as the practical projects and success examples using robotics in the fields such as (not limited to):

Manufacturing,
Education, Entertainment,
Rehabilitation and medical applications,
Service, Transportation,
Search and rescue,
Daily life, and
Common platform.
