SCOPE

The subject of the Special Session on Adaptive Stochastic Algorithms and their Applications at Human-Machine Interfaces covers an interdisciplinary area of the research and development of adaptive stochastic algorithms for optimization and data analysis and their applications for human-machine interfaces development (i.e. spoken dialogue systems). The special session considers such adaptive stochastic algorithms as genetic optimization algorithms, genetic programming, evolutionary strategies, and particle swarm optimization and their applications for such human-machine interfaces problems as automatic emotion recognition, automatic call routing, human-machine conversation topic identification, human-machine interaction quality modeling etc. The goal of the special session is to represent actual investigations in the area of adaptive stochastic algorithms applications for human-machine interfaces development and international cooperation in this area.

Topics of Interest
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Genetic Algorithms
  • Evolutionary Computation
  • Particle Swarm Optimization
  • Human-Machine Interfaces
  • Spoken Dialogue Systems
  • Speech Analysis
