SSCS provides tutorial level content from a variety of sources. Browse or Search more than 60 educational sessions from conferences, chapters, and magazine tutorials.
Some courses must be purchased on DVD; others are posted online and can be downloaded for free. Some are accessible through IEEEXplore and, of course, by registering to attend an upcoming conference.
Try a full text search on titles, abstracts, and presenter/author names. By selecting a title you will get the abstract, author, and links to the source sites for access or purchase.
ISSCC offers its tutorials and short courses on discs, dating back to 2004. Santa Clara Valley and Denver chapters offer at no cost, overheads of all their monthly technical presentations from outstanding experts. Educational sessions from upcoming conferences and Expert Now tutorials are listed.
IEEE Expert Now offers more than 65 one-hour long interactive, online courses includes 8 presented by SSCS lecturers. Delivered in a series of engaging and highly interactive, online learning courses, these courses have been developed by recognized experts in a wide range of engineering and research technologies. Designed for a desk top learning experience as flexible and effective as possible.
Tutorials and Short Courses are always scheduled at SSCS conferences among the days dedicated to presentation of research reports. A few have been pulled out and noted on the above link. Look for more details directly on the pages of an upcoming conference.
SSCS Chapter Presentations are sometimes posted after experts have appeared at their local meetings.
New SSCS Magazine Tutorial Department As the successor of the quarterly SSCS Newsletter, each issue of the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Magazine is envisioned as a self-contained resource for fundamental theories and practical advances within the field of Integrated Circuits (ICs).
Written at a tutorial level and often in a narrative style, it will feature articles by leaders from industry, academia and government that explain historical milestones, current trends and future developments.
Look for links to the articles from the Tutorial Department of the Magazine, once the issues are posted in Xplore. Join SSCS to have the Magazine mailed to you.

Innovation fuels the growth of integrated circuits. As evidenced by the JSSC -- one of the most highly read IEEE journals --, the constant evolution of our field requires IC engineers to continually update their knowledge.
Recognizing the importance of continuing education, SSCS collaborates with IEEE in developing short, web-enabled Expert Now seminar modules. Distinguished lecturers from the IC community are also available to present lectures at our local chapters.
By means of these and other efforts, and in view of the global nature of our industry, the Society aims to reach out to regions with evolving solid-state circuits communities, in particular to help upcoming generations of engineers.
I welcome you to take advantage of the Society’s educational resources. I would also be excited to receive suggestions from you.
