Striation and Diffusion Joint for Coated Conductor

Abstract — Technical issues for striation of coated conductors (CCs) into multi-filamentary structures and diffusion joint technique are addressed, showing our recent results on the laser-scribing technique, characterization technique, and Ag diffusion joint technique. The prospects of these techniques in terms of application to power equipments are also discussed.
