The IEEE Kansas City Section and the University of Missouri - Kansas City are proud to host the 2008 IEEE Region 5 Technical, Professional, and Student Conference. In the tradition of past IEEE Region 5 Conferences, this year’s conference will comprise the following events:

  • 17 April - Tutorials
  • 18 -19* April (Fri-Sat) - Technical Conference
  • 18 -19 April - Student Competitions and Leadership Training
  • 19 April - Region 5 Committee Meetings
*Business Meeting and Professional Training continues through Sunday, April 20, 2008

Paper submission deadline has been extended! Effective immediately, the new dates are as follows:

* Deadline to Submit Full Paper/Extended Summary via EDAS: February 15, 2008

* Paper Acceptance or Rejection: March 15, 2008

* Final Camera-ready Paper Due Date: April 2, 2008

 

Tutorial proposal submission deadline has been extended! Effective immediately, the new dates are as follows:

* Tutorial proposals will be accepted up to February 15, 2008

* Acceptance notices will be sent out no later than February 22, 2008

* Print-ready copy of accepted tutorial material is due on April 10, 2008

* Tutorial sessions still will be held on April 17, 2008
