Sanket Amberkar is responsible for developing and executing the strategy for Cisco��s network systems portfolio. His area of focus is network infrastructure for advanced and emerging technologies, and their business impact. Recent activities include Smart Grids, unified communications, security and video.

Prior to joining Cisco, Sanket was an Engineering Group manager at Delphi Corp. responsible for vehicle dynamics and a frequently invited speaker to industry conferences and events. He has published several papers and holds twelve U.S. patents.

Sanket holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering degree and an MBA -- both from the University of Michigan.
