Bio-Inspired Optoelectronics based on Flexible and Synaptic Devices

Changsoon Choi (KOREA INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (KIST))

Biography:Changsoon Choi received his B.S. degree (2012) from the Department of Material Science and Engineering at the Seoul National University and his M.S. degree (2014) and his Ph.D. degree (2020) from the School of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Seoul National University. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow in John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), Harvard University. He is currently a senior researcher of Center for Opto-Electronic Materials and Devices, Post-silicon Semiconductor Institute (PSI), Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). His research interest includes the advances of machine vision camera using bio-inspired optoelectronics (Nat. Electron. 3, 546 (2020) and Nat. Commun. 8, 1664 (2017)) and neuromorphic electronics (Nat. Commun. 11, 5934 (2020) and Sci. Adv. In press (2022)).
