Organic Memristor Devices, Integration and Neuromorphic Computing Applications

Gang Liu (Shanhai Jiao Tong University)

Biography: Dr. Gang Liu received his Ph.D. degree from the National University of Singapore in 2010. After the postdoc training at the Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore, he joined the Chinese Academy of Sciences as an associate professor in Aug. 2012 and promoted to full professor in Jan. 2015. In Nov. 2018, Dr. Liu returned to the Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a full professor and now he also serves as the deputy vice director of the Center for Advanced Electronic Materials and Devices. Dr. Liu has been focusing on the fundamental physics, electrical characteristics, as well as memory and in-memory computing applications of the resistive random-access memory (memristor), with special interests on high-performance organic memristor devices. He has published over 100 papers in these fields, including Nature Commun., Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., ACS Nano, IEEE Trans Electron. Dev. And etc.
