Multimodal Flexible Sensor System

Kuniharu Takei (Osaka Metropolitan University)

Biography: Professor Takei is a professor at Osaka Metropolitan University (previously Osaka Prefecture University) in Japan. His current research interests are to build the platforms for multi-functional, high-performance flexible electronics using both inorganic and organic materials. Takei’s research has been recognized with some awards including the Marubun Prize (2021), the Funai Prize (2020), Young Scientist’s Prize by MEXT (2018), NISTEP Researcher by MEXT (2015), 35 Innovators under 35 by MIT Technology Review (2013). He serves as the journal editorial board members such as Nanoscale Research Letters (Springer), Advanced Materials Technologies (Wiley), and Applied Surface Science Advances (Elsevier).
