Luis Andia (Soitec)

Biography: Dr. Luis Andia is a Senior Manager in the Mobile Communications Division at Soitec Singapore. In this role, Dr. Andia has responsibilities including, among others, the Division’s SOI (FD-SOI and RF-SOI) product portfolio definition. His professional interests are centered on RF Front End Modules for Cellular, Wi-Fi, Automotive, SatCom, IoT and diverse emerging wireless applications.
During his more than 15 years experience in semiconductors, Dr. Andia has held a variety of positions in top semiconductor companies with front and back line responsibilities giving him a broad perspective to the challenges associated with the introduction and adoption of disruptive semiconductor technologies.
Dr. Luis Andia is an IEEE Senior Member and holds a Master of Engineering degree from the ESIEE School of Engineering, Paris - France and a PhD degree in Microelectronics from the Paris-Est University in France. He has co-authored several papers and articles published in peer-reviewed conferences and journals. He speaks regularly about RF Front End trends and innovations at events across the world.
