Lattice-Aligned GaON on GaN for Surface Enhancement 

Mengyuan Hua (Southern University of Science and Technology)

Biography: Mengyuan Hua (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in physics from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic and computer engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. She is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electric and Electronic Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen, China. Prof. Hua focuses on the investigation of wide-bandgap semiconductor power electronics, including device fabrication, advanced characterization, reliability mechanisms and power IC. She has published 70+ high-quality journal and conference papers on IEEE EDL, IEEE TED, IEDM, ISPSD, et al. Prof. Hua won the Best Young Researcher (Charitat Award) on 2017 IEEE ISPSD and Best Young Scholar Paper on 2020 IEEE ICSICT.
