Displays through Glasses to the New World of Hyperconnectivity
Biography: Sung-Chan Jo had majored analytical chemistry finishing his BSc and MSc.study at Seoul National University and founded a biometric company NITGen and helped SecuGen inventing novel mechanisms for fingerprint sensor. After his Ph.D. study at Purdue University, he worked on lipid biomarker analyses under the supervision of late Dr. David C. White at Center for Biomarker Analysis. Later on, his research activity has focused on display technology after joining Samsung Display, where he has been fully engaged in optimization of the way people enjoys information in the IoT era dreaming of the best utilization of display technologies. He believes AR, VR, MR, and 3D technology have to be further developed for such days to come after blessings of the displays with diversified formfactors.
