Assembly of Microscale LEDs on Arbitrary Substrate and Their Thermal Management

Tae-il Kim (Sungkyunkwan University)

Biography: Prof. Tae-il Kim earned his BS degree from Sungkyunkwan University in 2003 and his Ph. D. degree from Seoul National University (SNU) in 2009. He moved to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) for postdoctoral research with Prof. John A. Rogers, working on the unconventional electronics and bio-integrated devices for biomedical applications from 2009 to 2012. Currently, he is an associate professor in the School of Chemical Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU). He has been working on bio-inspired and biomedical sensor and electronics He presented 120 papers in peer-reviewed journals including Nature (2014) and Science (2013, 2022).
