Don is the Director for US Standards at Underwriters Laboratories where he has overall management responsibility for UL’s domestic standards program, managing a staff of 37 standards professionals and approximately 1000 standards.

He has served as a member of the ANSI Executive Standards Council and National Policy Committee. He was also awarded the ANSI Meritorious Service Award in 2008.

Don holds a BS in Marine Engineering and Nautical Science from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY.
