Tae-il Choi Director General of Smart Grid Office of Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO), received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea. He received his M.S and Ph. D degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 1993 and 2008, respectively. Since 1982 he has been working with the KEPCO as an engineer and manager in the Power Supply and Facility Management Team of B/Os, and in Distribution Automation Department of Head Office for more than 8 years. He is currently a Director General of Overseas Project Technology Development Team of the newly established Smart Grid Office. He had also worked as an affiliated professor in Kwangwoon University of Korea.
