A Brief Description of the Conference and Exhibition:
The 2008 IEEE IUS is a major international technical conference in Ultrasonics. It includes "Medical Ultrasonics", "Sensors, NDE & Industrial Applications", "Physical Acoustics", "Microacoustics - SAW, FBAR, MEMS", and "Transducers & Transducer Materials". The 2008 IEEE IUS would like to invite you to come to the conference to display your products and to expand your businesses through the interactions with more than 1000 attendees. Your booth will be located in heavily traveled areas to allow a maximum exposure of your products to the attendees. Venue and Date
The conference and the exhibition will be held simultaneously in Beijing International Convention Center (BICC) from November 3-5, 2008, which is at the Northeast part of Beijing and is about 24km Southwest to the Beijing International Airport.

Cost of Participation
Standard exhibition booth is 9 sqm (3m X 3m). The fee is USD 1000 / per booth for those exhibitors who have participated in the exhibitions during the past two IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposia (in both New York in 2007, USA, and Vancouver, Canada in 2006), and USD 1100 / per booth for any other exhibitors. The fee includes:

  1. Three-sided partition shell stand structure
  2. Carpeted floor space
  3. Fascia board with company name
  4. One information counter
  5. Two folding chairs
  6. Two fluorescent tubes
  7. One electric power socket (5Amp, 220V, 50Hz)
  8. One waste paper basket
  9. Tickets to the social functions (see the “Basic Services” below) of the conference for up to two exhibitors.
  10. Up to two complimentary registrations for the registered exhibitors from each company

Note: Items provided herein for each shell stand package cannot be exchanged for an additional item or any other item. Any additional items have to be ordered separately.

Basic Services That Are Included in the Fees Above

We offer package services on:

  1. Pre-exhibition promotion towards targeted Chinese users
  2. Stand construction and dismantling
  3. 24-hours on-site security
  4. Daily cleaning
  5. Promotion of the sales of exhibits, assistance in arranging trade talks
  6. All exhibitors will receive an exhibition badge (up to two per company). This badge will allow exhibitors to attend the Monday (November 3, 2008) noon lunch, Monday evening buffet dinner with two drink tickets, and Tuesday (November 4, 2008) evening dinner/show. In addition, exhibitor breakfast will be provided on Wednesday (November 5, 2008) morning (7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.) and a free wine service will be provided in the afternoon of Sunday, November 2, 2008.
Exhibition schedule:
  1. Sunday, November 2, 2008, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., exhibition setup (a couple of wines will be provided free of charge for the exhibitors between 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
  2. Monday, November 3, 2008, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  3. Tuesday, November 4, 2008, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  4. Wednesday, November 5, 2008, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Noon)

Reservation Deadline
In order to ensure enough preparation time for both Exhibitors and Organizers, the reservation form must be returned and received by September 15, 2008. However, to ensure your company name be included in the Advance Program Book and Abstract Book for publicity, the reservation form must be returned and received by July 15, 2008.

Payment
To effect your reservation, 50% of the total space cost should be paid along with the reservation form. The outstanding balance of the total space and other costs is due by the October 5, 2008.
