INFORMATION
AUSTROPA
INTERCONVENTION as the official
registration and hotel accommodation office for the IEEE Sensor 2004
conference has pre-blocked a sufficient number of hotel rooms in different
categories for participants. Participants who wish to book accommodation
must complete the appropriate section on the registration form. Bookings
will be made according to the date on which the forms are received. Early
booking of hotel accommodation is recommended.
How to book accommodation
To reserve your hotel room, please use the
available on-line form or the fax (or mail) registration form.
Please
indicate your arrival and departure dates and the desired hotel on these
forms.
Austropa
Interconvention reserves the right to book accommodation in an adequate
hotel category if the desired hotel should be fully booked.
Deposit Terms
A
hotel deposit of one night of the room rate is required to secure and
confirm the room. Upon receipt of your booking and payment the hotel
voucher/confirmation with name and address of the hotel will be sent to you
by e-mail or fax. Please present the voucher to the hotel at check-in.
Balance payment has to be made directly at the hotel upon check-out. The
hotel will issue an invoice in the amount of the total payment.
Hotel
charges will amount to the number of overnights booked in advance. Any
unpaid bank charges will be deducted from your hotel deposit.

Any
hotel reservation or amendments received after September
20, 2004 will be subject to hotel availability.
Arrival time
Normal check-in time starts some time
between 13.00 and 15.00 hours.
Changes and Cancellation of Hotel Bookings
Changes and cancellation of confirmed rooms
must be sent in writing to Austropa Interconvention. For cancellations
prior to September 20, 2004
the deposit will be refunded less an administration fee of Euro 30 per
booking. No refund can be made after this date or non-occupation of the
room on the booked day of arrival. In case of “No show” the hotel
reservation will be released after the first night.

distance to the conference venue, or it can easily be reached by public
transport. Please refer to the hotel location map (pdf, size: 561k).

Prices indicated are in Euro per room, per
night and include breakfast, service and taxes.
