Establish a Fund through the IEEE Foundation
The IEEE Foundation cultivates relationships and resources to advance IEEE’s core purpose to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. To fulfill its role, the IEEE Foundation awards grants to new and innovative projects, and administers more than 130 funds supporting a variety of educational, historical preservation and peer recognition programs of IEEE units.
IEEE Foundation welcomes gifts from individuals and corporations for the purpose of developing a new fund. Fund(s) can be established for a single purpose such as: a specific award, travel grant, or scholarship; or funds can be broader in scope, like the IEEE History Center Fund or the IEEE Santa Clara Valley K-12 Education Fund.
Benefits of fund administration through the IEEE Foundation include:
- separately managed fund;
- professional staff support;
- acceptance and acknowledgement of gifts;
- ongoing donor reporting and stewardship;
- investment management;
- annual fund balance report.
Visit the IEEE Foundation to learn more about how to establish a fund.
Direct your questions to the IEEE Development Office by e-mailing donate@ieee.org or call +1 732 562 3860.
