The number of members who have opted-in their memberNet profile surpassed 7,500. Access to IEEE memberNet is an exclusive benefit of IEEE membership, available at no additional cost to IEEE members.

member directory While the basic member profile in memberNet contains every member's name and membership grade, each member can indicate by check mark (opt-in) what additional information they would like to also have appear. These may include technical interests, local Section, contact information, or IEEE Society affiliation.

Connecting with this extensive group of professionals who share similar technical interests is not available anywhere else. opt-in your profile today to strengthen your networking oportunities.

Remember to Vote
The annual election ballot arrived in members' mailboxes last month. In addition to the three candidates for 2010 IEEE President-Elect, there are 34 candidates running in the election in various IEEE divisions and regions, as well as in the IEEE Standards Association, IEEE Technical Activities, and IEEE-USA categories.

IEEE President-Elect Candidates J. Roberto Boisson de Marca, Moshe Kam, and Joseph V. Lillie participated in a roundtable Q&A discussion and a debate hosted by the IEEE Philadelphia Section. These sessions are available on IEEE.tv.

Annual election voting will end on Thursday, 1 October 2009 at 12:00 noon CT USA (17:00 UTC). Ballots received after the deadline will not be counted. Ballots also can be cast electronically.

The IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society (I&M) is dedicated to the development and use of electrical and electronic instruments and equipment to measure, monitor and/or record physical phenomena.
