This year we hope to start a student branch of the Computer Society at RIT. This allows the students of RIT to compete for the Computer Society Scholarships.
May 14th - Gerald Engel on Engineering Ethics. NOTE: the IEEE is now maintaining an ethics webpage.
September 23rd, 7PM @ RIT- Dr. David Parnas - father of "information hiding" spoke to all local software engineering experts.
November, 19th, 11:30-1:30 @ Top of the Plaza, Midtown- Brad Paxton talked on Census2000.
