About TEMS

IEEE TEMS encompasses the management sciences and practices required for defining, implementing, and managing engineering and technology. Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to: technology policy development, assessment, and transfer; research; product design and development; manufacturing operations; innovation and entrepreneurship; program and project management; strategy; education and training; organizational development and human behavior; transitioning to management; and the socioeconomic impact of engineering and technology management.

The primary motivation for forming the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS) Kolkata Chapter is to foster a dedicated platform for professionals, researchers, and industry leaders interested in the intersection of technology, innovation, and management. As technology-driven businesses continue to evolve, there is a growing need for professionals to develop expertise in technology leadership, strategic decision-making, and engineering management.
