Abstract:
Industrial Controls has been always a Fort Knox traditionally and IT had a little but no say on Security. However, with the automation journey has forced the Industrial Control Systems (ICS) to integrate and share data with IT systems. This integration has brought in the benefits of business automation in addition to the exposure to the ever increasing threats of the Cyber world. The topic of discussion is in and around the cyber security trends and the threat landscape pertaining to ICS.

Bio:Had started the career as a computer hardware engineer about 21 years ago and gradually transformed into IT Security engineer in HCL which enriched the experience with multiple technologies PAN India and abroad. There on, it had been a journey through an enterprise architect role in HPE and currently working as a security consultant in Check Point software technologies Ltd.

Abstract:
Industry and society are going through major transformation with 5G and other leading technologies. It is a big change - new standards and ways of working are being introduced at a rapid pace. Customers have many options - each option brings new opportunities, as well as new vulnerabilities. Ericsson is leading this technology evolution. Several trials are being executed, in collaboration with industry and research institutes, giving valuable insights and direction. This session will cover different technology options and choices from industry players across the globe.

Bio: Indrajit is responsible for the Global Service Delivery of Cloud and Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure in Business Unit Digital Services in Ericsson. He is also a member of the Digital Services 5G program and responsible for Service Readiness. Indrajit & his team of experts support Ericsson customers to transform their network and implement the virtualization and 5G journey.

Indrajit graduated from IIT Kharagpur in 1992. He joined Ericsson in 2011. Before Ericsson, he had successful career in Tech Mahindra, UshaComm and Essar. He brings 26 years of diverse experience in ICT industries. Indrajit also champions Ericsson's industry-academia collaboration with various Universities. He is a member of the IT Committee of Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCC&I) and participates as a speaker in different key industry events in India.

Bio: Pankaj Chawla Leads Presales Team for North and East India at Palo Alto Networks. Based out of New Delhi, Pankaj carries over 17 years of IT security experience and has worked with large enterprise, tier 1 telecom, and government organizations to help them build cyber-secure infrastructure. Previous to Palo alto Pankaj has worked at F5 Networks, Radware and HCL technologies.
