The
Chapter of Education Society (ES) was formed on June 25, 2012 with Dr. Subrata
Mukhopadhyay, SMIEEE of GTBIT, GGSIP University, New Delhi as its Interim
Chairman and it was subsequently ratified in the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
of the Chapter on August 31, 2012 held in the Committee Room, CARE, Indian
Institute of Technology Delhi. Thereafter Prof. Vinay K. Chandna
(DCE, Gurgaon) took over as Chair of the Chapter on March 04, 2015. Subsequently due to prolonged
inactiveness of the Chapter, as notified by IEEE MGA too, Section Exec Com in
its meeting of March 27, 2017 at CARE, IIT Delhi decided to re-organize the
Chapter bringing in Prof. Bhim Singh of IIT Delhi as
its Chair with the understanding that other positions to be filled-up as soon
as possible. Hence the Executive Committee of Education Society Chapter
of IEEE Delhi Section that is continuing for 2017 consists of the following
members only:
