The AP/MTT Joint Chapter fosters activities in the theory and engineering
application of antennas, including design and measurement, of propagation of
electromagnetic waves, including scattering, diffraction and interaction with
continuous media, and of microwaves, including passive and active devices used
at microwave and millimetre-wave frequencies.
The NSW chapter
committee
organises three to four activities annually, usually in the form of
lectures or site visits in and around Sydney. Lectures are normally
held on Thursdays at 5.30 pm for 6 pm at the CSIRO Radiophysics
Laboratory, Corner Vimiera and Pembroke Roads, Marsfield (just off
Epping Rd). Newsletters are produced during the year informing
members of both societies of forthcoming activities and events of
interest to the AP/MTT community.
