WPMC 2014

September 7th-10th

The 17th International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications will be held at the Menzies Hotel, Sydney, under the technical sponsorship of the IEEE Communications Society.

The Australasian Universities Power Engineering Conference will be held at Curtin University, Perth.

ISITA 2014

October 26th-29th

The International Symposium on Information Theory and Its Applications will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This biennial event, first held in 1990, is a leading conference in the information theory community. ISITA2014 features world-class speakers, plenary talks and technical sessions on a diverse range of topics within the field of information theory.

ITW 2014

November 2nd-5th

The 2014 IEEE Information Theory Workshop will take place in Hobart, Tasmania, at the Hobart Function And Conference Centre.

Australian School of Information Theory

November 10th-13th

The Institute for Telecommunications Research, University of South Australia, will host the first Australian School of Information Theory. The IEEE Information Theory Society is a co-sponsor of this event.

The school will bring together post-graduate students, researchers and distinguished professors in information theory for three and a half days of technical presentations, tutorials, poster presentations, group activities and networking. The school will provide formal and informal environments to foster collaborative research.

AUCC 2014

November 17th-18th

The 2014 Australian Conference on Control will be held in Canberra at the campus of the Australian National University.

Since 2011, AUCC has brought together researchers, students and control engineers from industry and Government organisations in the field of control and systems theory providing a forum to present a breadth of research activities and industry practice to a dynamic and varied audience.

The Australian Control Conference is organised by Engineers Australia through its National Committee for Automation, Control and Instrumentation. It is technically sponsored by the IEEE Control Systems Society.

ATNAC 2014

November 26th-28th

The 2014 Australasian Telecommunication Networks and Applications Conference will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. ATNAC 2014 is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society.

10 student travel assistance grants of $600 will be made for selected accepted student papers that are presented at ATNAC 2014. To apply, students should send an application letter and a letter of support from a supervisor to before September 30th 2014.

December 3rd-5th

The 4th IEEE International Conference on Big Data and Cloud Computing will be held at the University of Technology, Sydney.

IC3e 2014

December 10th-12th

The IEEE Conference on e-Learning, e-Management and e-Services will be held at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne. The conference is being jointly run by the IEEE Computer Society’s Victorian and Malaysian Chapters.

IC3e will bring together participants from the research and industry sectors to explore state-of-the-art theoretical research and implementation experience on Cloud Services, Big Data Analytics and on-line Learning. IC3e has the support of experts in these fields from the USA, Australia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Greece, Brazil and France.

2015 Conferences


April 19th-24th

The 40th IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

ICASSP is the world's largest and most comprehensive technical conference focused on signal processing and its applications. The series is sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society and has been held annually since 1976. The conference features world-class speakers, tutorials, exhibits and over 120 lecture and poster sessions.

ICITA 2015

July 1st-4th

The 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Applications will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Sydney, with sponsorship from the IEEE New South Wales Section and Academic Alliance International.

ICITA will become the official conference of the IEEE New South Wales Section and the IEEE New South Wales Computer Chapter. The conference will be held on the same dates and at the same location each year.

ICITA is a forum focussed on specific disciplinary research as well as on multi-disciplinary studies. The uniqueness of ICITA is that it enables scientists world-wide to communicate not only about technical issues, but also about any of the other areas which use technology.

July 19th-22nd

This triennial conference, established since 1985 as the main insulation and dielectric materials forum for Asia, will be held at The University of New South Wales, Sydney. ICPADM is fully sponsored by the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society.

ICPADM is a conference combining research and application practice in dielectrics covering the general areas of electrical insulation in power apparatus and cables, monitoring and diagnosis of insulation degradation, insulation for HVDC systems, ageing and life expectancy of insulation, dielectric phenomena and applications, partial discharges, electrical and water treeing and surface tracking, electrical conduction and breakdown in dielectrics, surface and interfacial phenomena, nano-technology and nano-dielectrics, space charge and its effects, new and functional dielectrics, dielectric materials for electronics and photonics, eco-friendly dielectrics, bio-dielectrics, dielectrics for superconducting applications, new diagnostic applications.

MSC 2015

September 21st-23rd

The 2015 IEEE Multi-Conference on Systems and Control will be held at the Novotel Manly Pacific Hotel, Manly Beach, Sydney.

The Australasian Universities Power Engineering Conference will be held at the University of Wollongong, Wollongong, NSW.

ISAP 2015

November 9th-12th

The 2015 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation will be held at the Wrest Point Hotel, Hobart.

ISAP is the premium antennas and propagation conference in the Asia-Pacific region. Under the sponsorship of CSIRO and the technical sponsorship of IEEE and IEICE, the symposium will provide a forum for researchers, engineers and industry experts to present recent research breakthroughs, technical advancement and new findings in antennas and propagation. A particular focus of the conference will be recent advances in the context of the latest wireless communications and sensing systems.
