Te LI completed her Bachelors of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2004, and her Ph.D degree in EEE, NTU, with Prof. Susanto Rahardja and Prof. Koh Soo Ngee, in 2009. During the B.Eng., she was awarded Singapore Government Scholarship for P.R.C students.

She worked as a Research Engineer (2005-2007) and a Senior Research Engineer (2008) in Institute for Infocomm Research, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. She is currently working as a Research Fellow in Institute for Infocomm Research.

She received Outstanding Mentor Award from Ministry of Education, Singapore, in 2008. She was the Vice-Chair of the IEEE Singapore Section Graduates Of the Last Decade (GOLD) Affinity Group.

Her research interests include audio signal processing and analysis.
