Wei YAO received her B.Eng degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2004. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D degree in electronic engineering at NTU.

Ms Yao joined the Institute for Infocomm Research, Agency for Science, Technology, and Research, Singapore, as a Research Engineer in 2004. Her research interests include video coding and HDR image compression & processing.
