Here at the IEEE we continue to look for ways we can enhance the lives of our members. As such, we are pleased to sponsor a special two-hour seminar on Management of Retirement Savings. At this seminar, Michael T. Collins, attorney and host of WMAL’s “Legally Speaking,” and Dean A Packard, a Senior VP at Salomon Smith Barney will help you make sense of the IRS rules related to your retirement savings. The speakers will explain in plain English what you need to know about WILLS, TRUSTS, TAXES, PROBATE, RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS, and how to keep your money in your family.
A few months ago the Internal Revenue Service did American taxpayers a huge favor. They radically simplified the regulations for withdrawing money from qualified retirement plans. The significance of these new rule changes can hardly be exaggerated. Retirement plans- IRAs, 401(k)s, TSPs and the like- have become an increasingly significant part of many of our members long-term retirement planning. You must develop an investment plan that considers retirement plan assets and your other holdings from an income tax, estate tax, and risk reduction standpoint.
We are offering this seminar to you, as a membership service. You and your spouse (or a guest) are invited to attend on one of the following dates:
