IEEE THIRD MILLENNIUM MEDAL RECIPIENTS
I am honored to announce the recipients of the IEEE Millennium Medals. This
award is give to the 3000 people worldwide who have been selected for the
outstanding contributions to the IEEE and their professions. The awards are
made by IEEE technical societies, local Sections, and Major IEEE Boards. Since
you can not receive multiple medals someone's name will only appear on one
organization's list. Below are the recipients for the Washington and Northern
Virginia Sections. The metals will be presented at the National Capital Area
Council Awards Dinner on 15 April at the Bethesda Naval Club.
