Meeting Archives: July 1999 [IEEE Northern Virginia Chapter]

ABSTRACT
Families and friends (Non-IEEE members welcome) are invited to attend the Third Annual IEEE Computer Society of Northern Virginia/Washington Books and Barbeque.

This should be a fun and relaxing way to spend an evening with fellow professionals in a social setting. Families are encouraged, too. Local authors of computer books will be on hand to sign copies of their books.

Come enjoy classic cook-out cuisine, including a keg of ice-cold beer and other non-alcoholic beverages.

Cost of the picnic is $5.00 per person or $12 per family.

If you are interested in having any of these books signed by the authors, we recommend picking up a copy from a local bookstore or ordering online, then bringing the book to the BBQ to have it signed.

from the Dulles Toll Road:
Get off on Exit 12 (Reston Parkway) heading North.

At intersection of Reston Parkway and Baron Cameron Road continue straight through light
North on Reston Parkway. Count three streets on right to Center Harbor Road. Take right.

Take first Left onto North Village Road.

Follow 40 yards, North Hills Park Pavilion on Left off road. Park in designated parking.

from Route 7:
Take Reston Parkway (Across from Meadows Farm Nursery)

Go to Second light, Center Harbor Road. Take Left.

Take first left onto North Village Road.

Follow 40 yards, North Hills Park Pavilion on Left off road. Park in designated parking.
