Mike is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of IEEE Industrial Applications Society. Mike has been active in the IEEE Central TN Section for many years, serving in the roles of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer in addition to many years as the Program Chair. Mike enjoys the learning, leading, helping, and networking opportunities gained through involvement in the IEEE Section. Mike is the president of Puckett Engineering, PLLC, a consulting engineering firm in Nashville, TN, Puckett Engineering PLLC | The Critical Difference Between Off and On. Mike has been involved in the study, design, and construction of facility electrical systems with a special interest in mission critical/power quality applications for more than 37 years. He has a BSEE degree from Tennessee Technological University and is a licensed professional engineer and licensed master electrician. Outside of his professional life, Mike enjoys outdoor activities, ballroom dancing with his wife, and reading/learning, among other things.


Vice Chairperson

Jerry McCullough, P.E. Member IEEE
M.E.E.G., Inc.

Jerry has been a member of IEEE for over 29 years. Jerry is president of M.E.E.G., Inc. a consulting engineering firm operating in the southern states. Jerry has been involved in the design and installation of industrial and commercial electrical systems and industrial automation systems for the past 30 years. Jerry has a special interest in arc flash studies and is involved with various IIOT applications in the middle Tennessee area. Jerry is a licensed professional engineer in four states.


Secretary

Janice Fuller, Member IEEE

Janice has been serving as the Section Secretary since 2020. Serving as Section Secretary allows her to help provide a local framework to assist the Section in achieving change and moving the electrical industry forward. Janice also uses this role help build valuable professional relationships and continue to build her skills as a leader. Janice currently manages the MV Transformer product offer for Schneider Electric North America. Becoming a member of the local IEEE TN section has helped broaden her view of the total market, gain knowledge of emerging technologies in the electrical industry and build rapport with local IEEE Members outside of Schneider Electric and the transformer industry. Janice Is currently the Offer Marketing Director of Medium Voltage Transformers for Schneider Electric. She manages a team of 12 people in their Offer, Execution, Customer Service, Quality, procurement and Product Development. They strive to provide the best product for their customers to complete a solution that includes MV Transformers. Janice has been with Schneider Electric for 25 years in various capacities including Production, Application Engineering, Product Development, Sales, Pricing, and Offer Marketing. She has helped create a Best In Class outsourcing and brand labeling process that provides superior customer service while maintaining record profitability to Schneider Electric. Janice strives every day to create an environment that empowers her employees to act like owners. She considers it a privilege to be a leader and I is thankful every day for the talented team she works with to achieve the great results they provide to Schneider Electric. Janice takes Pride in what her team does every day, she is persistent in doing the right thigs that are needed to keep her business moving forward, She believes in Unity to get the job done and I is credible in that she does what she says she is going to do. Outside of work Janice is a wife and mom to two beautiful active girls. One in high school and one in elementary school. She often thinks she’s a Lyft driver that does not get paid bringing them to their various activities including HS Volleyball, Club Volleyball, League Softball, School Plays, Band, Friends, Church and more. She and her husband and trying to build a solid foundation of love, family and faith for their girls. Janice also loves to travel, spend time with family, help care for her elderly father and somehow find time for Yoga and a little antique shopping. Janice is known for being a positive person. She is trusting and will help anyone in need. She may be quiet but thinking deeply on how she can help or improve any situation. Her friends in their crazy neighborhood call her J-Nice! And she loves to laugh!


Treasurer

Lee Knight, P.E., Member IEEE

Lee is a native Nashvillian. He received a bachelors degree from University of Tennessee Knoxville in Electrical Engineering while working a co-op internship at Nextel Communications. After college Lee began his career at Vanderbilt University Medical Center working in the data centers as an analyst. Soon thereafter he was promoted to a Facility Engineer. In 2012 he received his PE license and was promoted to senior engineer at Vanderbilt. Lee led the Data Center teams at Vanderbilt through major renovations of the medical center and university data centers. In 2018 he received a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University. Following the legal separations of VUMC, lee continued as Director, Data Center Services to create solid foundations for the data center environments. Lee is currently employed by Amazon.com LLC as a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer II, where he designs IT infrastructure for global fulfillment centers. He lives in Goodlettsville with his twin boys age 6. Lee has been a IEEE member for 23 years, in 2019 he began serving as treasurer for the Central Tennessee Section, and is working towards being a senior member.

James Lee III, P.E., Member IEEE
S&C Electric Company

James is a senior engineer with S&C Electric Company. Before joining S&C in 2020, James held various roles with Schneider Electric for 14.5 years. James has a BS Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and a Masters Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University. James is a licensed Professional Engineer.

Linh Miller, Member IEEE
Schneider Electric

Linh has been an IEEE member since 2011. She holds a BSEE from Colorado School of Mines, a BA from Hochiminh City in Industrial Management, and a MSEE from Colorado University at Boulder. She currently is a Power Advisor Engineer at Schneider Electric in Franklin, Tennessee. Her main focus is using data from power monitoring software to analyze the electrical network in order to provide insight into the power quality conditions. She uses the results from the analyses to suggest opportunities for improvement to customers across the US and Canada. Prior to Schneider Electric, Linh was the lead IVVO (Integrated Volt-Var Optimization) Engineer at Xcel Energy in Colorado, where she contributed to Xcel Energy’s industry-leading Advanced Grid Intelligence and Security (AGIS) program to modernize the electrical power grid with automated software. Her main role was to coordinate activities of the equipment design team with those of the software design team to prepare grid control software from vendors for deployment. In this role, she also worked with the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) on a related national R&D initiative. Previously within Xcel, Linh was a substation design engineer. In this role, she developed multiple electrical power substation designs, which typically included 115 kV and 230 kV breakers, a 90 MVAr capacitor, a 230 kV transformer installation, and a 345 kV line expansion. Besides work and family, Linh loves outdoor and volunteer activities. She has participated in two 10K Bolder Boulder events, climbed 4 of Colorado’s fourteen thousand foot mountain peaks, helped build houses in Guatemala for people in need, volunteered for IEEE PES Denver 2018, and recently helped with tornado clean-up through Hands-on-Nashville.

Jim Link, P.E., Member IEEE
Arnold Engineering Development Complex

Jim has been active in the IEEE Central TN Section since 2011 serving as the Chapter Chairman for the Industrial Applications and Power and Energy Societies. Jim is also active with the Nashville chapter of the International Society of Automation (ISA), serving as President since 2014, and with the Southern Middle TN chapter of the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) since 2011, serving as Treasurer and as of 2020 serving as chapter President. Jim is a Senior Electrical Engineer for Aerospace Testing Alliance at Arnold Engineering Development Complex. Jim has over 30 years in the industrial environment delivering solutions for facility power systems upgrades and control system upgrades in the electrical and manufacturing industries. Jim is a licensed Professional Engineer and an Electrical Engineering graduate of Tennessee Technological University.

Ben Bohannon, Member IEEE
Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation

Ben is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. His experience includes 14 years as an Electrical Engineer with Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation (MTEMC), with a current emphasis in reliability, procedures, and specifications. Past re-sponsibilities include system planning and studies, relay protection, technical support, and pole loading analysis. Ben has acted as the IEEE Central TN section Chair, Secretary, and liaison to the Vanderbilt and Tennes-see Tech student chapters. He's a member of Rotary International and presently serves as Secretary of the Rotary Club of Murfreesboro’s. Ben also serves on the Board of Directors of the Middle Tennessee Christian Foundation campus ministry at MTSU of which he is a past Chairman. Ben is an active mem-ber and Deacon at the North Boulevard Church of Christ. He served as one of 12 mentors for the inau-gural class of Project Braveheart, a ministry dedicated to eliminating recidivism among former inmates of the Rutherford County Correctional Work Center. Ben and his wife Katie-Lynn live in Murfreesboro along with their six children. His personal interests in-clude hunting, listening to long form content, audio books, and spending time with family.
