Management System will occur over the first weekend in August. Some
services may not be available to you
then.

BMS MIGRATION AND POSSIBLE SERVICE
DISRUPTIONS: The final phases of work
for deployment of the new
Business Management System will take place Friday
to Sunday, 3-5 August
2007. During this period, the following will occur:
1.
Migration of all applications that use Web Accounts for authentication
- As a result, starting at 5 p.m. EDT on 3 August 2007,
applications
such as myIEEE, on-line communities, Concentration Banking and
other
volunteer password protected areas will experience planned,
possibly
intermittent, service disruptions.
-
Services such as join, renew, change profile, add services, web
account and
shop will be unavailable during this period
2. On 4 August 2007,
IEEE Xplore is expected to be off-line beginning at 9
a.m. EDT for up to 15
hours, but not to exceed 24 hours
3. In addition, starting
30 July 2007, single article sales via IEEE
Xplore will be off-line in
preparation for the migration weekend
4. System testing and QA will
continue immediately after these deployment
activities are completed
BMS is expected to launch as scheduled during the day on Monday, 6
August
2007.
As is the regular process for planned service
disruptions, messages are
being placed on the appropriate opening pages of
the affected applications.
