nominations for the 2008 Orlando Section
Awards, which will be presented this fall. The
Orlando Section presents six awards annually:
- Outstanding
Engineering Educator
- Outstanding
Engineer
- Outstanding
Service
- Outstanding
Entrepreneur
- Outstanding
Undergraduate Student
- Outstanding
Graduate Student
- Nominees
must be IEEE members in good standing and have
been a resident of the Orlando Section for the
past three years.

make a nomination for the Orlando Section

Orlando
Section 50th Anniversary
Celebration
- Call
for proposals/suggestions/articles
The IEEE Orlando
Section was established in 1959,
and 2009 will be 50th
anniversary. The Section is
planning a series of major
celebration events. We are calling
for proposals for celebration
events, activities, suggestions,
ideas, and other contributions for
the big celebration. Currently we
are planning an exhibitions
showing the 50 year history of
Orlando Section, and publication
of a collection of articles from
former and current Section
members. We are collecting ideas,
suggestions, and possible
exhibition items, e.g. photos,
stories about major events or
prominent
section members, etc. Articles and
other contributions from former
section officers are particular
welcome and encouraged. Please
send your responses and comments

We plan to have our second meeting
for 2008 soon. If you wish to join
the Consultants' Network Affinity
Group and receive emails for future
