As of October 21, 2010, there were 1428 members active
members of all grades in the Orlando Section. This is an increase of 26
from the 1402 members tallied on September 16, 2010. A closer
examination of the membership counts by grade for the last three reporting
periods is shown below.

From September 17, 2010 through October 21, 2010, 17
new IEEE members joined the Orlando Section: 1 Associate
Member, 3 Members, 8 Student Members, and 5 Graduate Student Members.

From September 17, 2010 through October 21,
2010, 14 active IEEE members moved into the Orlando Section: 1
Associate Member, 8 Members, 2 Student Members, 1 Graduate Student Member,
and 2 Life Members. Please welcome the IEEE members who have moved to
the Orlando Section. Their names are shown on the attached list
of existing members who have joined the Orlando Section
during this period.
The next webcast for the IEEE Membership Development
Committee is scheduled for Saturday, December 4, 2010. There is no
webcast scheduled for November. The PDF file of the October
16, 2010 webcast has been attached to this message.
Prior to the start of the October monthly meeting of the IEEE Orlando Section Executive Committee on October 5, 2010, 9 people attended a 2010-2011 kickoff information meeting for members in the Orlando Section interested in pursuing elevation in grade to Senior Member.
