Orlando Section Membership Development Report - December 23, 2011


The number of active members at all grades in the Orlando Section grew from 1423 on November 25, 2011 to 1437 on December 23, 2011. 

A comparison with the totals for December 21, 2010 shows significant year-over-year losses among Members and Student Members and a month-over-month loss among Members.

Significant month-over-month increases occurred in the following grades:  Graduate Student  Member (9) and Student  Member (5).

From November 25, 2011 through December 9, 2011, 10 new members joined the IEEE in the Orlando Section:  2 Members, 2 Graduate Student Members, and 6 Student Members. Please welcome these new IEEE members. Their names appear on the attached list of new IEEE members to the Orlando Section with contact information.

From November 26, 2011 through December 17, 2011, 6 active IEEE members moved to the Orlando Section:  1 Graduate Student Member, 1 Life Member, and 4 Members. Please welcome the IEEE members who have moved to the Orlando Section.  Their names and contact information are shown on the attached list.

The number of Members in Arrears for 2011 from the Orlando Section was 295, as of December 23, 2011.

 

The re-scheduled MD webcast was conducted on Saturday, December 3, 2011, based on November membership data.  The contents of the December 3rd webcast are attached to this report as a PDF file.  A second webcast was held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, among representatives of Regions 1-6 to discuss strategies to increase member enrollment in North America.  The contents of the December 14th webcast are also attached to this report as a PDF file.
