Texas Instruments and Packet Video will present an overview of TI’s Open MultiMedia Applications Platform (OMAP). The Texas Instruments OMAP1510 is a dual processor, ARM and DSP, which is architecture optimized for mobile multi-media and mobile computing applications. The presentation will introduce the architectural highlights of the OMAP architecture and include a live demonstration by Packet Video of a streaming video application.

David Baughman is a Field Applications Manager for TI’s DSP Products, and Corbett Kull is a Development Manager for Packet Video. Both Mr. Baughman and Mr. Kull are members of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
