Lucien Breems received his MSc and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering
from the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands, in 1996 and 2001, respectively. In
2000, he joined the Mixed-Signal Circuits and Systems Department of Philips Research,
Eindhoven, Netherlands. Since 2007, he has been with NXP Semiconductors where he
leads a research group working on Sigma-Delta A/D converters. He is the author of the
book "Continuous-Time Sigma-Delta Modulation for A/D Conversion in Radio Receivers"
(Boston, MA: Kluwer, 2001) and his research interests include Sigma-Delta modulators
and mixed-signal circuit design.
