Second Prize:
University of Nevada-Reno, Corinne E. Beall and Craig A. Soule; “Automatic Capacitor Bank Control.”
The winner of the Paper Contest is automatically eligible to enter the Region 6 Student Paper Contest held during the IEEE Section Congress in San Francisco in August.

Larry Martin, Student from University of Hawaii, received the IEEE Larry K. Wilson Regional Student Activities Award. During the meeting the Award Plaque was presented to Tep Dobry, Student Branch Counselor of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, who along with Hawaii Section Chair will present the award to Larry Martin.
