Havelock Stanley "Flip" Lunan
1924- 2007

Flip was a founding member of Montreal Conferences Inc. He was Montreal Section President in 1970-71 and Conference President in 1972.

His obituary appeared in the Montreal Gazette on 9/5/2007.

OBITUARY HAVELOCK STANLEY "FLIP" LUNAN P. ENG. 1924-2007 Peacefully, on September 2, 2007, in his eighty-fourth year, Flip Lunan passed away at Heritage Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife, Zetta (Jameson), his children Stanley (Rami), Sherry (John), Heather (Ray), Monique (Derek), grandchilren, Kim (Trevor), Raymond, Sean, Carolyn, Corey, Caitlin, and great grand-daughters Alyssa and Sarah. Predeceased by his parents H.J. Stanley Lunan and Hazel E. Boyd of Sorel, Quebec. Survived by his sister Dawn (late Ron Watson), brother Hale (Marcelle), nieces, family and friends. Flip was a dedicated and passionate employee of G.E. for 34 years. His love of life and learning was demonstrated, in part, through his association with the McGill Alumni, his membership with the M.A.A.A., and continued studies, in his retirement, at Concordia University. Donations in memory of Flip can be made to Heritage Nursing Home, 5716 Cote St. Antoine, Montreal, QC, H4A 1R9. Visitation at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke St. W. (514-483-1870) on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 9:30 followed by a service in the chapel at 11:00.
