Executive Meeting
Tuesday, November 6, 2001

Summary of Action Items:

Action:
Jeff to forward the itinerary outlining the activities associated with the Marconi Student Competition to Mike for inclusion into these summary notes.

Action:
Siu to send Yves a copy of an invitation to the Marconi Competition for the Governor General.

Action:
Yves to sign the invitation and deliver the invitation to Dr. Meisen who, in turn, will sign and forward to the Governor General.

Action:
Yves to compile a list of people who should be invited to the Marconi Competition and forward the list to Mike (for inclusion into these summary notes) and Siu.

Action:
Siu to determine an appropriate manner in which to recognize the efforts of Joe Craig (and maybe others).

Action:
Siu to recommend a suitable venue for dinner to show our appreciation to the invited guests. This meal will also serve as our annual Christmas meal.

Action:
Jeff to investigate the possibility of getting some donations from the provincial government.

Action:
Dennis to work with Doug to ensure that a Treasurer's report is prepared for presentation at the AGM.

All to submit a report to Kathleen on their respective portfolios by November 23rd.

Mike to print 20 copies of the by-laws and bring same to the AGM.

    Jeff to re-send a summary package of the Marconi project to Yves so that Yves can forward the information to Region 7.

    Doug, Dennis, and Yves to conclude the co-signor item via a visit to the appropriate bank on Thursday @ 11:00 a.m. on October 25th.

    Yves to get the address of the ECC treasurer for Doug.

    Doug to send a cheque to ECC for $100.

    Closed. They no longer require the donation as Region 7 provided funding.

    1. Marconi Student Competition Update
    2. Jeff Newhook provided a brief update on the latest activities surrounding the student competition. It will now take place at the Music Building starting at 8:30 a.m. on December 12, 2001.

      Action:
