As part of the Executive's ongoing process of adding value to you membership, we are currently asking members to fill out our survey. We will be collecting responses until November 30. Also, for all members who leave their name and membership number at the end of the survey, we will drawing for an IEEE Polo shirt in early December.

This event marks the 50th anniversary of the commissioning of TAT-1, a very significant technological achievement which operated until 1978. The IEEE, a non-profit organization, is the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology. The IEEE established the Milestones program in 1983 to honor significant achievements in the history of electrical and electronics engineering. Currently there are just over 60 Milestones worldwide, 3 of which are located in NL. This is a very prestigious honor.
