SPEED NETWORKING

IRC Scotland will host a Partner Brokerage Event during the seminar providing attendees with an opportunity to meet leading multinationals, universities and innovative SMEs in the photonics, medical, biotechnology and biophotonics sectors.

Leading names such as:

Institute of Photonics

Centre for Biophotonics

COSMIC

IBH

to name a few, will participate in the Speed Networking event.

Speed Networking is an effective way to increase your profile and contacts, and meet and screen potential partners in a short space of time.  Participants profile their expertise, technologies and products together with their technology or partnership requests in the online catalogue in the lead up to the Event.

10 days prior to the Event, the Catalogue is closed and Participants are requested to search the Catalogue and request meetings with organizations listed.  The Catalogue will also be promoted to other Conference delegates and the wider community to encourage further meetings to be arranged.

Three days before the Event, each Participant will receive their individual Meeting Schedule offering them 15 minute slots with their selected partners and those who have requested meetings with them.  This allows them to make any necessary preparations before the meeting.

IRC Scotland is the Scottish access point to Europe’s largest technology and business support Network for innovative businesses.  With over 250 offices across Europe, the Innovation Relay Centre Network works to help companies promote their innovative technologies and find suitable commercialisation, integration, development or marketing partners.  The I RC Network is an equally good source of identifying new technology opportunities.

IRC Scotland is offering all participants of the Partner Brokerage Event, the opportunity to promote their profile across Europe. Nearly 200 European opto and microelectronics companies are currently using the IRC Network to promote their innovations, and hundreds more are registered to find partners.

The service is free of charge as it is fully funded by the European Commission, Scottish Enterprise and Highlands & Islands Enterprise.

To be kept up to date with the latest technologies and partner requests originating from Europe, you can also register for the weekly TechAlert Electronics, Telecommunications or Medicine & Health bulletins via the IRC Scotland website – https://www.ircscotland.net/technology_trade/subscribe_to_techalert.cfm
