I have enjoyed my role as Region 3 Electronic Communication Coordinator

(formerly known as Email Coordinator) in the past and look forward to

serving as Region 3 ECC again in 1998. 



We are in the process of moving the Region 3 web site to the IEEE Entity

Web Hosting (EWH) server.  Please visit our web site and provide

suggestions for improving our information content.

The Region 3 BBS will be discontinued in April.  The transition of data to

our web site will occur in the coming months.  If you would like to

volunteer to help in this effort, please contact Vernon Powers or myself.



I have restructured the Region 3 mailing lists (see separate email).  If

any Chair needs help with their list, please let me know.  In order to help

with recognition and maintenance, I would encourage other Region 3 entities

to use the "r3-" prefix when creating mailing lists.

I need the help of everyone, especially the Area and Council Chairs, in

updating our sec-r03@ieee.org mailing list (see separate email).  Please

take a second to look over this list and provide me with any corrections.
