Area 3 Report

Subject: Area 3 Report for Orlando Meeting, 24-26 April 1998

The Sections in Area 3 have not met formally since the Savannah Meeting but
have exchanged e-mail in preparation for a joint planning session (target
June 1998). The use of Video Conferencing Technology is being considered
since the sections are dispersed across Georgia and travel time is a
premium. I will report on the results of the planning session and
observations of the methods used.

Regional Activities quickly responded with a request for space on the EWH
server for an Area 3 web page. It is now in the Area 3 Chair’s court to load
the web site. I will notify you when the site is ready for comments. The EWH
Server is a direct example of how the Sections Congress responds to the
needs of the members at all locations
(another example for Dan Jackson’s scrap book).

Support Sections Congress ’99 because it Works!

The individual reports from the Atlanta Section, Central Georgia Section and
Savannah Section will be sent by the Section Chair.
