Region 3 PAOC Report

I have sent several requests via e-mail to get information from the
sections about PACE related activities.  To date I have only received
reports from a handful of sections.  Also, to date I have only
received one PACE funding request, which I will bring for signature to
the meeting in Knoxville.  We have reimbursed all of the participants
in the IEEE-USA Workshop, but have not, as yet, funded any PACE
projects.

It has become obvious to me that it is necessary to take measures to
revitalize the "network" part of the PACE network.  I will discuss
some of these ideas at the Knoxville meeting.  I would like to start
holding monthly PACE E-Conferences.  I will schedule the first
e-conference for January at the EXCOM in Knoxville.
