We have applied for the conference insurance and Registered the conference with IEEE Conference Services. Our treasurer is establishing a concentrated checking account with IEEE for the conference. Central North Carolina Section is providing the initial deposit into the account as part of it's commitment. The Conference committee is requesting the seed money from the Region before the end of this year. Our committees are planning some different type of contests than the traditional robot contest we have seen over the past several years. IF these are approved it should be some interesting contests for the students.
