General:

Melbourne section added a a joint Communications/Signal Processing
Society chapter this year.  We continue to see growth in the number
and enthusiasm of our volunteers.  We added new positions this year in
Educational Activities and Student Outreach.  Attendance for technical
meetings typically range from 20-50 participants.  Our chapter chairs
continue to make good use of local speakers and Society distinguished
lecturers.  We will distribute $2000.00 this year to college student
groups to assist in class projects.
